World Water Day
2007
To celebrate the World
Water Day students from #5 School in
Punta del Este and Collingwood School
from Calgary, Canada made artwork about
this topic.
#5 School from Punta
del Este was celebrating its 100 anniversary
and the exhibition of the paintings from
these students and from myself were part of
the inauguration.
At Collingwood School
the project included a workshop based on my
paintings, workart by the students and the
recording of them
in a CD.

Environment in Aguada Este 2005
After
the ceremony 24 children from the
neighborhood made paintings in commemoration
of the Environment World Day. |

After developing a
workshop with the collaboration of the
professors about the relevance of water in
the planet, paintings were interchanged
between students of Jacobo Varela #31
School from Montevideo, Uruguay and
Collingwood School from Calgary. Canada. |

Day 2007
In October 2007 an
exhibition including paintings from students
of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra School
from San Jose, Costa Rica, ANAIF
Institute from San Jose, Uruguay and
Collingwood School from Calgary, Canada
were exhibited at Varsity Galery in Calgary
in commemoration of the Interamerican Water
Day. |
